IDEAL aims to research, experiment and create immersive content using XR technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, holography, 360º, among other new narrative media.

IDEAL Lab collaborates several universities in Barcelona (UPC, UPF, BAU, ENTI, ESDI, ELISAVA), startups and artists for the research, learning and production of new immersive audiovisual projects.

IDEAL has a permanent program of artistic residencies housed in the same center. The purpose is to support creators who work with digital formats, with the intention of creating a space for the development of these artistic languages. IDEAL wants to emphasize the importance of positioning itself, in addition to being an exhibition space, as a space for the development of these artistic disciplines.
