IDEAL’s biggest production to celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of Jules Verne, one of the most famous authors in world literature.

Jules Verne’s work takes us on an infinite number of extraordinary journeys. With this immersive experience, we want to do the same: embark on our own extraordinary journey by making the exhibition accessible around the world.

JULES VERNE 200 is the most ambitious large-format production of all those created by IDEAL (Layers Of Reality) and the most complete: immersive rooms, virtual reality, metaverse and traditional exhibition rooms. It will have its world premiere at IDEAL, Barcelona’s Digital Arts Center, next September 2024.
The 3D film projected in the well-known immersive room with more than 1000 m² of screen will incorporate a new dome that will completely change the perception of visitors to a cultural space that is already iconic in the city of Barcelona. And through virtual reality, we will premiere a Vernian metaverse that exceeds all limits of imagination to make a journey through the spaces of the 5 most popular novels of Verne.
Through his best known works such as “Journey to the Center of the Earth”, “20000 Tongues Under the Sea”, “Around the World in 80 Days”, “Robur the Conqueror” and “From the Earth to the Moon”, Verne was able to inspire artists and intellectuals from all over the world.
