MIRA.mov “Exploring Visual Languages” is a series of immersive screenings curated by MIRA Digital Arts Festival that explores contemporary digital culture, re-evaluating new and old forms of thought through innovative formats and narratives, and showcasing distinctive features of digital media that reflect the state of the art and its aesthetics through techniques such as CGI (computer-generated imagery), audiovisual immersivity, game engines, and 3D digital animation.
EYESBERG presents 1.5 GRAUS

Eyesberg is a multimedia art studio specialized in transforming environments into interactive and immersive artworks, large-scale projections, interactive installations, light installations, Fulldome videos, and immersive-format operas.
1.5 degrees above pre-industrial measurements —those from 1850 to 1900— is the temperature that separates us from global climate catastrophes. Our only hope is to reduce CO₂ emissions, which drive global warming, the disappearance of glaciers, and set off a chain reaction affecting ocean currents, tides, atmospheric pressure, winds, and rainfall: vital changes that impact ecosystems and the balance of species.
GNOMALAB presents KAIROS

At Gnomalab Studio, they create artistic experiences that explore the connections between nature, technology, and contemplation. They use mediums such as light, reflections, and digital environments to capture and enhance the beauty of fleeting moments, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in reflection and to experience nature in a profound and transformative way.
Kairos, in Greek, means “the opportune moment.” Our piece seeks to convey the beauty contained in any instant of a natural environment. We aim to connect with the ephemeral and the contemplation of unique moments that arise from nature and are captured in the digital realm.
LAIA TARRAGÓ presents THE WILD SWANS

Laia Tarragó is a digital artist with a degree in Digital Arts from La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull. Her artistic practice is driven by a deep interest in visual storytelling and the intersection between analogue techniques and digital media. This approach is particularly evident in her personal project, The Wild Swans, an immersive adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale.
Pol Martín is a musician, DJ, and producer. He holds a degree in Musicology from UAB, and his creative work spans electronic music and traditional soundtrack composition. In the project The Wild Swans, he develops a soundscape that guides the narrative and interacts with the immersive space.
The Wild Swans is a 10-minute immersive adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, created by Laia Tarragó and distributed by Brooder Lab. Hand-painted illustrations digitally animated blend with an original spatial soundtrack to create a magical, multisensory experience. Designed for immersive venues, the story unfolds across the walls, inviting the audience to move, follow it, and lose themselves in a poetic fairy-tale world.
PLAYMODES presents ESPECTRES

Playmodes is an audiovisual research studio. Led since 2006 by Eloi Maduell and Santi Vilanova, it is a space where art and science, philosophy, music, and technological research converge. Their works —ranging from light sculptures to kinetic instruments and celestial projections— transport the viewer into an abstract universe where code transmutes into immersive experiences.
Espectres is a generative video art piece. Driven by chance and probability, this audiovisual automaton creates infinite, ever-changing spectrograms that are immediately transformed into electronic sound through image sonification algorithms and additive synthesis. It literally allows one to hear exactly what is seen, using pixels as the source of sound generation. As an autonomous, unsupervised creative agent, Espectres has its own musical taste. From drone soundscapes to intense rhythms or abstract microtonal landscapes, this algorithmic being fluctuates between unique and unexpected audiovisual states.
XAVI BOVÉ STUDIO presents POSIDÒNIA

Xavi Bové Studio is a digital art studio. They create emotional experiences through light, image, and sound. The focus of their work revolves around the intersection of art and technology, exploring concepts such as time, memory, human perception, and the interaction between individuals and their environment.
POSIDÒNIA is a multidisciplinary project that highlights the crucial role of Posidonia oceanica, a seagrass species endemic to the Mediterranean Sea that is vital for the marine environment. It provides multiple ecological benefits, serving as the habitat for many marine species, playing a key role in mitigating climate change, and protecting the coastline from the impact of storms.
