An unprecedented vision of the city in the 50s and 60s through digital art with spectacular photographs by Francesc Català-Roca, Oriol Maspons, Leopoldo Pomés, Joana Biarnés, Xavier Miserachs, and Colita.

Inside of Barcelona Memòria Fotogràfica you will find a darkroom just as they were in the 50s-60s, a photomaton that uses artificial intelligence, the production “Six views” projected onto the immersive room, where the images come to life and, finally, a trip to the past: “Barcelona through time”, a piece of virtual reality in 360º and stereoscopic, filmed during the lockdown days caused by COVID19.

Remember that you do not have to arrive on time, you can access during the purchased session time. For example, you buy a ticket for the 12pm session, you can enter from 12 pm to 12: 59 pm.

Large format projections in high definition flood the IDEAL space, surprisingly explaining the Barcelona of the 50s and 60s.
The virtual reality experience allows visitors to walk inside the best photographs of the 6 most important photographers of the time, getting to know the places that inspired these masters of photography, locations such as Port of Barcelona, Les Rambles, Montjuïc, or the rooftop of La Pedrera, among others. It is a trip from the past to the present and from the present to the past, thanks to the fusion between the original and the current photographs of the city.
